Reply Rather interesting information. I am new to feng shui, but am rather interested, usually I slept faceing west, but yesterday read a website that said there are east people and west people and that my number was nine and it told me that south was teh best direction to sleep in or east, but now i read ur website and realised it is not as straight forward so thank u for what u posted now I see that all the directions can be good or bad based on what mood we are in and our situation me Reply actually, you are right. It all depends on your kua number, as people of the east group will totally differ from people of the west group. Pat Reply I have always made it a point to have my bed on an east wall facing west and this was always the most restful sleep that I had. My husband thought I was just mad and becuase of the where he wanted to put the airconditoner in the room, moved the headboard to the south wall facing NORTH!!! I have not slept for almost a year, have been insomniac, and have had horrible dreams.
Feng Shui and bed placement: what is the optimal position for your bed? | Morris Feng Shui
A correct placement, positioning and direction of the bed with Feng Shui principle are very important to help you keep health as well as bring success in work and business. Positioning of the Bed 1. No matter where the bed is placed, you should be able to see the bedroom door and window from the bed and it shall be sunkissed at dawn, which is conducive to absorb the energy of nature and good for your health. The bed shall be parallel or perpendicular to the bedroom wall to avoid the sense of instability. The bed shall not face the bedroom door directly. The bed shall not be placed in front of the air conditioning, which may easily lead to cold; if your head faces the air conditioning, you will have bad luck and it is harmful to your fertility. Also, the air conditioning shall not be equipped at the right side of your bed or above it.
